A serial entrepreneur, BHOME’s founder, and CEO, Jose Portillo, founded his first real estate development company together with his family in 2002. Since then, he has been leading a conglomerate of vertically and horizontally integrated companies, developing +5,000 homes and urbanizing +9,000,000 square feet for +USD $80M in Jalisco, Mexico.
Since 2018, the company ventured into industrial real estate under his leadership, building its first +96,000 square feet warehouse, a railway sidewalk, and two 1,000 meters long railway branch lines.
After graduating from the Faculty of Civil Engineering at the Tecnológico de Estudios Superiores de Occidente (ITESO), he completed his first Master’s Degree program in Business Fundamentals, Business Administration and Guidance.
Later, he became first in his class and got selected as a graduate speaker after completing his second Master’s Degree Program in Control and Strategic Marketing at Universidad Panamericana (UP) in Guadalajara City.
